Jay Rosen
Jay Rosen is an accomplished, versatile real estate and private equity executive with extensive experience across the entire value chain including acquisitions, masterplanning, development, project structuring, financing, residential sales, branding, marketing, operations, and asset management. Over the course of his career, he has participated in over $25 billion in real estate and private equity investments, including large, integrated resort developments, single asset and portfolio acquisitions, and corporate mergers and acquisitions. Jay has extensive experience with hospitality and mixed-use assets in addition to residential, retail, gaming, and office investments in North America, the Caribbean, and Middle East.
Jay is currently Founder and Managing Partner of Hikma Capital Partners, a boutique investment and asset management platform focused on the private markets. There he focuses on opportunistic and valued-added investments for institutional and non-institutional investors. Additionally, Jay serves as an Advisor and Board Member (GCC) to Inhabitr, the real estate industry’s first AI powered end-to-end furnishing solution, and Advisory Board Member to Aseer Investment Company, the investment arm of Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund (PIF) focused on transforming Aseer into a year-round tourism destination.
Most recently Jay was Group Chief Financial Officer for Red Sea Global (RSG), a vertically integrated real estate company established to develop sustainable tourist destinations in Saudi Arabia as part of Vision 2030, including The Red Sea Project and AMAALA. At RSG, Jay established the overall strategy and financial agenda for the Group, including the acquisition and integration of its subsidiaries, The Red Sea Development Company and AMAALA, and was responsible for driving long-term strategic value by planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial and investment related activities of the Group.
Previously, Jay was a member of a small executive team involved in creating, planning, financing, and developing Baha Mar, a $3.5 billion destination resort development in The Bahamas. At Baha Mar, he served as SVP Strategic Planning, Finance, and Development and was focused on business development and strategic transactions including sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and executing Baha Mar’s financing, hotel and casino partnerships, government approvals and entitles, and other key partner and stakeholder agreements. In addition, Jay spearheaded the project’s feasibility, masterplanning, and programming, established the real estate and residential project structure, and created the asset management platform for multiple hotels, over 3,500 hotel rooms, 100,000 sq ft casino, and an array of amenities and resort activities.
Earlier in his career, Jay was a member of the investment teams at Interstate Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts where he focused on acquisitions, development, and asset management.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration where he concentrated in real estate finance.
