Ahmed Hozaien

35 years of hospitality experience during which has worked and has occupied property and regional roles in Europe, Latin America, Far East and Middle East.

Following years of service with various multinational hospitality groups, Ahmed joined Marriott International in 2017 in his current capacity of Area Vice-President for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain & Egypt. Started career in F&B department in 1989, then shifted to rooms division before occupying managerial positions. Ahmed’s became hotel general manager for first time in 2000, whilst first time multi-property and regional responsibilities were in 2008.

Holder of a Bachelor of Art in Hotel management from Helwan University Cairo 1986, Ahmed has also an MBA from ESSEC Business School Paris obtained in 2009. And a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Asset Management from Glion Institute Switzerland in 2017.

Throughout 35 years of hospitality Ahmed has worked in 8 countries and 4 Continents. He is passionate about people and enjoys discovering the world’s different cultures. During 12 years of experience in Saudi Arabia, Ahmed saw the country transformation where the Kingdom is positioned today as an attractive destination for international leisure tourism, beside a great boost to existing three important sectors, religious, Business and leisure travels.
