Julio Corredor heads hospitality and asset management at Alesayi Hospitality Company, a subsidiary of Omar Kassem Alesayi Group (OKAG). He oversees the operations, asset management, and development of the company’s portfolio.
He is a hands-on hotel asset manager and international hotelier with over 15 years of multicultural experience in Colombia, Europe, the GCC, Levant, and North Africa. Julio has acquired a strong hotel-wide operational background through project management exposure as a trained lean six sigma black belt. Planning and executing several hotel openings and conversions (re-brandings) as well their active involvement in budgets, F&B, S&M, and recruitment strategies.
Before joining OKAG Julio has held different asset management roles in government, semi-government, and public hotel companies and has demonstrated history working at large hotel properties, owning companies, and operator corporate offices with cross-functional and regional teams. Effective when working with different stakeholders and performing operational and financial and commercial reviews to ensure operational performance is aligned with operating and investment objectives, achieving targets, and maximizing portfolio profitability through quality service and guest satisfaction.
Julio holds a BA in Hospitality Management from the Swiss Hotel Management School, University of Derby, UK, and an executive MBA from HULT International Business School and is an inaugural member of the Hospitality Asset Management Association (HAMA) Middle East and Africa since 2007.
