World Association of Chefs Societies

ABOUT WORLDCHEFS

The World Association of Chefs' Societies, or Worldchefs in short, is a global network of chefs associations first founded in October 1928 at the Sorbonne in Paris. At that first congress there were 65 delegates from 17 countries, representing 36 national and international associations, and the venerable August Escoffier was named the first Honorary President of Worldchefs.

Today, this global body has 100 official chefs associations as members. The biennial congress is a hallmark tradition of Worldchefs and has been organised in over 20 cities across the world throughout its illustrious 82-year history.

MISSION STATEMENT

The World Association of Chefs' Societies (Worldchefs) is a non-political professional organization, dedicated to maintaining and improving the culinary standards of global cuisines.

We accomplish these goals through education, training and professional development of our international membership. As an authority and opinion leader on food, Worldchefs represents a global voice on all issues related to the culinary profession.

  • VIN & K HOTELS WORLDWIDE

    The show is getting better every year. Last year, we signed a deal with Tuscany and this year too we are looking for suppliers. We are the only company in KSA introducing international hotel brands into the country. We are opening Hilton Jeddah in the upcoming months and there is one more hotel in Jeddah in our pipeline.

  • SAUDI OGER LTD

    We are a facility management company and work with the Government to construct buildings for government employees, VIP guests and government offices. For this, it is important that we keep an eye on the latest trends and market prices. This is my first visit to the show and it’s great to be here for getting information about hotel equipment and furnishings. Events like these help us a lot to increase our knowledge.

    This is my 3rd visit to The Hotel Show. The reason I visit every year is that I always find something new here. Being in the food industry, it is important to have new ideas and to be updated with new trends. This year, I have been introduced to non-alcoholic beer, which is quite appealing. Over all, the show is a great learning platform.
